DESCRIPTION

Re-epithelialization gel for the transformation zone of the cervix for the prevention and adjuvant therapy of lesions caused by CPV (human papillomavirus).
Papilocare® is recommended for use in the following cases: • for the control and re-epithelialization of cervical transformation zones to prevent the risk of CPV-induced low-grade multiple squamous epithelium lesions (LSIL); • as an adjuvant therapy for CPV-induced intraepithelial lesions; • for the promotion of healing and re-epithelialization of localized lesions in the cervical and vaginal mucosa; • for the treatment of dryness of the cervical and vaginal mucosa; • for restoring the balance of the vaginal microflora; • to improve vaginal health; • to promote rapid healing of damage caused by scratching itchy areas; • for the formation of a protective film that quickly relieves discomfort and creates suitable conditions for promoting the natural healing process.

USAGE

The duration of therapy is 6 months. The therapy can be extended according to the doctor’s instructions. To get the expected results, it is important to complete a full course of therapy. It is recommended to start therapy after the end of menstruation. First month: For 21 consecutive days, squeeze out the contents of one tube every day. Then skip 7 days. Subsequent months (second to sixth): Express one tube every other day for a 21-day period.
It is recommended not to use Papilocare® during menstruation only for the convenience of patients. No clinical incompatibility exists. Papilocare® is preferably used before going to bed. Papilocare® can be used together with condoms.
HOW TO USE PAPILOCARE® Papilocare® is packaged in single-dose tubes. If any of the tubes look open or damaged, they should be discarded. The tube is designed to facilitate the introduction of the product. Insert the end of the tube into the vagina and squeeze the package to empty the contents. Then pull the tube out of the vagina, keeping it compressed so that the gel that has already been squeezed out is not sucked back. It is possible that a small amount of gel remains in the tube. This does not mean that the administered dose is less than recommended, as enough gel is squeezed out of the tube to cover the cervical and vaginal mucosa (3 ml). The tube must be thrown away after use. A used tube must not be reused or given to other patients.
