DESCRIPTION

Adhesive surgical dressing. Mepore’s adhesive edge covers the area around the wound, avoiding external infection. Mepore repels water and provides physical wound protection.

USAGE

A sterile, self-adhesive absorbent pad for the care of lightly to moderately exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, incisions and abrasions.  Mepore should not be used by patients with known hypersensitivity to acrylic patches or by persons with very fragile and easily traumatized skin.

INGREDIENTS

Mepore wound dressing is made of non-woven cotton viscose with a polymer layer, giving a smooth surface and easy adhesion. The polyester lining makes the product breathable and very flexible, allowing it to be well adapted to the contours of the body. The bandage is protected by two partially overlapping packaging films; they are easily removable, ensuring aseptic use of the dressing.
