DESCRIPTION

Mepilex® Absorbent Porous Dressing is trusted worldwide for the treatment of a wide range of chronic and acute wounds. The product is easy to form and highly absorbent, effectively capturing wound exudate.
Mepilex is indicated for a wide range of low to moderately exuding wounds. Mepilex can be customized by cutting it to fit an individual wound or location on the body.  This makes this dressing ideal for areas where dressings are difficult to apply. Mepilex can be used in conjunction with our Tubifast™ fixation system.

USAGE

Clean the wound according to standard procedures. Dry the skin around the wound thoroughly. Remove the protective film and apply the sticky side to the wound. Don’t stretch it.

INGREDIENTS

Mepilex consists of:
1. Safetac wound contact layer;
2. flexible, absorbent polyurethane foam pad;
3. air-permeable and water-impermeable outer films.
