DESCRIPTION

Help4Skin Wound healing contains a stabilized acid carbomer with carnosine, the main natural peptide of the skin. On dry wounds, such as abrasions or surgical wounds, it has a covering effect, as the product inhibits evaporation and reduces epidermal water loss. Carnosine buffers acidic polymers by acting as an antioxidant. Carbomer absorbs excess fluid from moist, draining wounds and cools and softens areas in contact with adhesive dressings and/or bandages. Does not stick to the wound.

USAGE

Wash your hands before and after using the product on the wound. Closed wounds: • clean and disinfect the treated area; • apply the product to the wound, avoiding touching it with the tip of the applicator; • if necessary, apply a bandage or adhesive bandage. Open wounds: • clean and disinfect the wound; • dry the wound thoroughly and carefully with sterile gauze; • apply the product in a thin layer (0.5-0.75 cm) on the wound, avoiding touching it with the tip of the applicator; • apply an adhesive bandage or dressing; • change the gel and bandage at least once a day; • reduce the amount of the product when a scab has formed on the wound.
