Thanks to the unique Flex technology, Mepilex® Border Flex is more compliant than other porous bordered bandages tested. A dressing that moves with the patient and stays in place even when showering.
Mepilex Border Flex is intended for use in the treatment of a wide range of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds (eg skin tears). Mepilex Border Flex in combination with gels can also be used on dry and/or necrotic wounds. Mepilex Border Flex reduces post-operative blistering and can also be used as part of a preventative regimen to help prevent skin lesions such as pressure ulcers.
